Requiring very little time, regular maintenance promotes optimum heat trans-fer and prolongs the life of any industrial soldering iron, claims the firm.
Packaged in handy storage cases, American Beauty Soldering Iron Maintenance Kits each contain a special spiral brush, steel wire brush, and flexible non-woven abrasive pads that wrap around a tip's shank. The spiral brushes have 1/4" hex shanks to fit most drills. Five individual kits for servicing 40 to 550-WATT soldering irons, and a complete kit for all sizes are offered.
