Providing watertight seal for PV module output leads to inverters, Masthead(TM) II Cordgrips are constructed of UV resistant nylon with TPE or Buna N Sealing Gland to resist salt water, weak acids, gasoline, alcohol, oil, grease, and common solvents. They also meet 94 V-2 flammability and IP68 ratings, and have temperature rating of -22 to 212°F. Provided with assembled metal locknut and NPT threads, cordgrips can be attached directly to rigid (PVC) or EMT-type conduit via adapter.

Next Generation Heyco Solar Masthead(TM) II Cordgrips Offer Flexibility for Liquid Tight Wiring Needs in Solar Rooftop Installations
Heyco Products, Inc., a leading ISO 9001:2000 US-based designer and manufacturer of wire protection products and electronic components, has announced availability of their new next generation Solar Masthead II Cordgrips.
Designed with all the same benefits of Heyco's existing Masthead Cordgrips, the new Masthead II Cordgrips feature a thin Santoprene membrane gland covering that allows the user to choose from 1-13 wires by simply piercing the wire through the number of dimples on the membrane. They are UL recognized under file E51579 to both Canadian and US requirements. Less expensive, easier to install and more aesthetically pleasing, Masthead II Cordgrips can be used in place of rooftop combiner boxes and are easily threaded into an adapter that allows them to be attached directly to rigid (PVC) or EMT-type conduit.
