Meridian Systems Launches Prolog 2007 with Improved Construction Project Management Features

The Industry Standard for Successful Construction Project Delivery Includes Usability and Infrastructure Upgrades

FOLSOM, Calif., Oct. 9 -- Meridian Systems(R), provider of enterprise project management software for optimizing capital projects, programs, and facilities, announced a new release of its industry leading project management software, Prolog(R) 2007. Available today, Prolog 2007 provides robust construction project management control for large to mid-sized organizations including general contractors, engineering firms, private building owners, and public agencies.

"Prolog 2007 truly reflects how our customers use technology for construction project management," said Bruno Berti, senior director of product management at Meridian. "By incorporating extensive customer feedback, Prolog 2007 users will benefit from increased productivity and smooth application performance."

The Prolog 2007 naming allows users to recognize this latest Prolog version as the most current software release. By upgrading, Prolog users will benefit from three types of enhancements:

-- Support for updated software releases. Prolog WebSite viewer support is provided for Microsoft Office 2003, AutoCad 2004 and Adobe Acrobat 7 documents. Other software infrastructure upgrades include support for Microsoft SQL 2005 and Crystal Reports(R) XI for Prolog.

-- New feature and usability updates. These improvements allow Prolog users to manage and track data on multiple projects more effectively on a real-time basis. Users will experience increased flexibility in managing project specific contacts; increased flexibility in customizing project specific List Groups; and the ability to quickly identify and review attached files in both Data Entry Forms and Register Views.

-- Increase quality through performance improvements -- Meridian has incorporated extensive user feedback in Prolog 2007, and as a result, hundreds of customer reported issues related to database performance, application usability, and report management have been addressed.
