AIRCOM Accelerates WiMAX with ENTERPRISE 6.0

Faster, smarter, more cost-effective network management suite

Dubai, 3 September 2007 - AIRCOM International, the leading independent provider of end-to-end network optimisation solutions for IP and cellular networks, today launches the ENTERPRISE 6.0 network engineering suite for complete network performance. ENTERPRISE 6.0 has the potential to accelerate the roll-out and integration of WiMAX networks, with enhancements to its fixed WiMAX tools and the addition of new mobile WiMAX planning capabilities. ENTERPRISE 6.0 enables operators to manage the range of network technologies - WiMAX, HSDPA, 3G, GPRS and 2G - from one platform using a single-source database, GIS and data management system.

AIRCOM introduced its first ENTERPRISE tool to the market in 1997. Today, more than half of the world's network operators rely on ENTERPRISE tools for their network planning, management and optimisation tasks.

Operators can take advantage of the modular mix-and-match design of ENTERPRISE 6.0 to maximise their investment by selecting the capabilities that precisely meet individual business requirements. This means operators only pay for what they need, rather than bearing the cost of features and services superfluous to their needs.

"Operators have always had to deal with evolving network technologies, but the situation they face today could hardly be more complex. The array of technologies and the changing demands of subscribers make it essential for operators to redouble their focus on planning the development of their core asset - their network," said Margaret Rice-Jones, CEO, AIRCOM International.

"Every operator around the world has different technology and service requirements. We have designed ENTERPRISE 6.0 to be as flexible as today's market dictates, both in terms of implementation and pricing,"
Rice-Jones continued.

Enhancements within the ENTERPRISE 6.0 release include:
o Dynamic modules enabling time savings of up to 75 per cent
o Array creation performance has been improved by up to 80 per cent
o Multi-core processor optimisation gives up to 70 per cent faster dual-core production throughput
o GSM measurements up to eight times faster

The single platform architecture of ENTERPRISE 6.0 ensures the same data is used across an organisation. This reduces both capital and operational expenditure - one platform means faster deployment with no data conversion cost or time implications.
