ASI DataMyte Announces New, Easy-to-Use GageMetrics Precision Measurement Software

Plymouth, MN, August 21, 2007 -- ASI DataMyte, Inc. announces the introduction of GageMetrics, a user-friendly precision measurement software package designed to collect and store measurement data from manual, semi-automatic and automatic inspection systems.

Until now, many precision measurement applications required a steep learning curve and many trial and error sessions before they could be implemented on the shop floor. GageMetrics uses clear and simple color-coded graphics that minimize training time, startup time and the potential for operator error. These features also minimize differences from one user to the next, ensuring reproducible results across different operators and shifts.

GageMetrics uses a Windows®-compatible computer as a workstation to collect measurement data and analyze the measurement process. The GageMetrics program also lets users integrate tools and fixtures from third-party hardware manufacturers to build a complete measurement system.

With the aid of embedded measurement templates the user can configure measurement formulas by selecting the appropriate template and matching the associated probes. This reduces the training and knowledge required to configure the system.

Because the same software is used for both manual and unattended measurement, data from both types of applications is stored in the same networkable database for analysis and correlation studies.

ASI DataMyte provides total quality solutions for the manufacturing marketplace worldwide with products ranging from quality documentation software to factory floor data collection, analysis and reporting systems.
