Resistant to heat and dust in extreme environments, ISA half-size Model PCA-6782 is available with dual-core Intel Atom D525 CPU or single-core Intel Atom N455 CPU, both with 2 GB of DDR2 667 MHz memory. Integrated graphic core is based on Intel's Embedded Gen 3.5+ graphic technology with 224 MB shared memory, enabling 2D/3D graphic processing tasks without additional graphic card. Equipped with VGA and LVDS video outputs, Model PCA-6782 supports dual display applications.

PCA-6782 SBC with New Intel® Atom(TM) N455/D525 Raises the Benchmark for Reliability
Irvine, California, -Advantech, the embedded platform and integration services provider, announces the introduction of a new Intel® Atom(TM) N455/D525 ISA half-size Single Board Computer (SBC). PCA-6782 features the latest high performance Intel Atom N455/D525 single/dual-core processors which are ideal for embedded applications that required a balance of performance and lower power. The latest Intel Atom single core N455 and dual core D525 processors have an integrated graphic and memory controller (GMCH) all on the same chip. This all-in-one solution enables higher performance and even more power savings. PCA-6782 offers high reliability and is resistant to heat or dust in extreme application environments.
The Atom D525 dual core CPU brings new generation computing capability into the half-size SBC application field. Compact size, low power consumption, dual core parallel computing power and a maximum of 2 GB of DDR2 667 MHz memory makes PCA-6782D a powerful small form-factor embedded platform for today's industrial applications that require high performance in small packages. The fanless single core Atom N455 CPU with a maximum of 2 GB of DDR2 667 MHz memory makes PCA-6782N ultra reliable in all kinds of high-temperature and dusty environments.
PCA-6782 has an integrated graphic core based on Intel's Embedded Gen 3.5+ graphic technology with 224 MB shared memory. This feature makes PCA-6782 capable of handling complex and intense 2D/3D graphic processing tasks without an additional graphic card. VGA and LVDS dual video outputs also make it suitable for applications requiring dual display or digital panel display capabilities.
PCA-6782 provides a rich array of I/O interfaces: it has three SATA ports (300 MB/sec) for mainstream SSD (Solid State Disks), HDD and ODD connections, and legacy I/O connection: one IDE, one PS/2, one FDD and one parallel port. It also has a CF socket, a PC/104 expansion, one Gigabit Ethernet LAN for high networking capability, and two COM ports. Optional Advantech COM port upgrade module (P/N: PCA-COM485-00A1E) is also available to give an extra four RS485 ports with auto-flow control capability.
