Like many new board offerings from IBASE, this board comes with a new green technology called iSMART, which is designed to reduce energy consumption when systems are not in use.
 
With an Intel® Atom™ processor, the new IB895 SBC is not only environmentally friendly, but also energy efficient, to make it suitable for a wide range of applications in digital signage, POS, kiosks, and factory automation. “The latest Intel® Atom™ processors D2550 and N2600 manufactured in 32nm process have advanced computing and graphics capabilities, as well as enhanced memory performance. IB895 provides plenty of connectivity and expansion options. It has a DDR3 SO-DIMM socket to accept up to 4MB of system memory. Display interfaces offered are DVI-I and 24-bit dual channel LVDS. Standard I/O ports and connectors include two Gigabit Ethernet ports, six USB, four serial ports, two SATA, one mSATA and 12~24V DC input for easier power integration. Expansion slots come in a half-size and a full-size Mini PCI-E slot.
