Leyman Side Gate Enhancements Improve Functionality
TLS 3500 offers upgraded features for side gate applications
CINCINNATI - Leyman Lift Gates has made a great side lift gate even better. The new TLS 3500 is an upgraded version of Leyman's popular TLS 3000, with enhanced features for better functionality and application, including the new Maintenance Minder² power unit.
One of Leyman's premium lift gates, the TLS 3500 features the new Maintenance Minder² which controls and records all lift gate functions. The Maintenance Minder², the first commercial lift gate power unit to incorporate smart-technology, brings a full range of advanced functions (including the ability to record key operating data and control unit performance in low-voltage and/or high-temperature conditions), that will help fleets measure and record lift gate performance and operating data while protecting the gate from potentially damaging conditions. MaiintenanceMinder² includes a backlit L.C.D. display that indicates key data during operation, eliminating the need for a separate, hand-held reader.
In addition to the MaintenanceMinder2, the TLS 3500 utilizes greaseless bushings at all pivot points and slide pads instead of greased rollers for the side lift gate's in and out motion. Not only is the TLS 3500 greaseless, but now the power unit box is more accessible. The door has been moved to the rear portion of the gate so that the power unit can be easily reached.
Automatic over the road locks are now standard on all TLS 3500 lift gates. This safety feature has eliminated the use of chain locking mechanisms on the TLS gate. The auto locks are also mounted higher than on the previous model, and no longer use greased pivot points.
The TLS 3500 comes with adjustable tension arms for leveling the platform. Adjustable up stops and in/out stops are also provided. Formerly troublesome adjustments can now be made with a simple wrench.
Other standard features include:
• Marine toggle switch operation
• Power in and out
• Lifting arms that are mounted near the center of the platform for a more stable, level ride

Best liftgate on the market
I have used many different liftgates but they Leyman is the most reliable and they have the best support if something does go wrong. I highly recomend Leyman.
