Self-Unloading Containers are used with rods and tubes.
March 4, 2009 -
Intended for production material handling of up to 4,000 lb of 24-40 in. long rods/tubes, Self-unloading Containers eliminate need to manually bend to reach parts or place parts on bottom of containers. They can be used to stream parts into bar feeders, but require DC speed control unit to power container and set dispense rate. Internal straps wind/unwind to accommodate part dispensing/refilling, and optional locating base allows repeatable positioning for line up to other equipment.

New Self Unloading Containers
We are pleased to introduce Self-unloading Containers for production material handling of rods and tubes.
o Reduce labor costs and improve ergonomics with this self unloading container for round bars.
o The container is an ergonomic back saver, eliminating bending to reach parts or place parts on bottom of containers in a manual load or unload scenario. May qualify for ergonomic grants in many states.
o The container can be used to stream parts into bar feeders, greatly reducing the need for the operator to manually maintain the flow of parts from the bulk storage container to the feeder.
o The container requires a DC speed control unit at the points where the containers will be loaded or unloaded. The control unit powers the container and sets the dispense rate.
o The optional locating base allows repeatable positioning of the containers for line up to other equipment.
o Simple, low-maintenance design
o Straps inside the container slowly wind up to dispense parts and unwind slowly while the container is refilled.
o The standard container is adjustable to hold round bars from 24" to 40" long, a capacity of 4000 lbs, and is stackable up to 4 high. Dispenses entire load in approximately 50 minutes at Max speed.
o Custom sizes are available.
o The containers feature fork pockets for safe handling
o Made in the U.S.A.
