September 18, 2008 - Requiring minimal installation torque, Tapper+ screw anchors are tested to meet 2006 International Building Code (IBC) requirements for strength design of anchors in uncracked concrete. Hex Head and Flat Head styles are available in sizes from 3/16-¼ in. and 1¼-6 in. long for use in light- to medium-duty fastening applications involving concrete, block, and brick base material. Use results in neat finished appearance.

Tested to Meet Tougher Building Code IBC Requirements

With a new thread design and lower installation torque, the new Tapper+ line of screw anchors from Powers Fasteners, Inc., can handle virtually any light to medium duty fastening application in concrete, block and brick base material...and is tested to meet the 2006 International Building Code (IBC) for strength design of anchors in uncracked concrete.

The Tapper+ fastening system is fast and easy to install; provides a neat finished appearance; and is ideal for a wide range of fastening applications including hand rails, shutters, fixtures or window and door frames. The screw anchors are removable; are available in Hex Head and Flat Head styles; and range in size from 3/16" to ¼" and 1¼" to 6" in length.
