Scara Robot has 900 mm arm length with 20 Kg max payload.
March 4, 2008 -
Designed with minimal parts for reduced maintenance concerns, YK900XG uses long-life grease and features directly connected (belt-less) motor and reduction system for Z and R axes. Absolute type resolver is used for position detector, eliminating need for return-to-origin action, and positioning accuracy is +0.02 mm for XY axes. Piping and wiring can be designed in compact layout, and special controller is available to facilitate execution of complicated operations.

Yamaha YK900XG Scara Robot Features Unique Arm Length and Low Maintenance
The Yamaha YK900XG Scara Robot features a unique 900 mm arm length with a maximum payload of 20 Kg. With a reduced number of parts, the YK900XG requires less maintenance than conventional models. The motor and reduction system for the Z and R axes are directly connected without a belt. There is no need to adjust the tension or replace the belt. The use of long-life grease eliminates the concern for changing grease.
The YK900XG has a positioning accuracy of + 0.02 mm for the XY axes. The unit weighs only 56 Kg and is easy to use. Because an absolute type resolver is used for the position detector, no return-to-origin action is needed. Time lost at startup is reduced. Piping and wiring can be designed in a compact layout and a special controller is available to allow complicated operations to be executed with ease.
