Full Motion Video Streaming for Computer Signals - the New RGB/VideoLink M-2

In the special venue of the Streaming Media Pavilion, RGB Spectrum will demonstrate the new RGB/VideoLinkŪM-2, the first professional-quality integrated scan converter and MPEG-2 encoder. The unique RGB/VideoLink M-2 transforms computer signals to MPEG-2 format digital video for live video transmission. The unit offers full motion MPEG-2 video that can be transmitted in real time over networks, providing a video streaming solution for training, simulation, digital signage, and video teleconferencing.

The RGB/VideoLink M-2 accepts computer inputs at up to 1600 x 1200 pixel resolution. It offers both multiple-point multicast and single-point unicast MPEG-2 signal transmission over networks. State-of-the-art data transmission capabilities include UDP or RTP-over-UDP transmission with packet shaping to reduce peak bit rates, and Forward Error Correction (FEC), which rebuilds lost packets for consistent, reliable performance. Pan and zoom functions offer the flexibility to focus on a particular area of interest.
