Available in -4, -6, -8 and -10 configurations, 5k Flareless Tube Safety Screen Adapter integrates HI-BAR safety screen, which is machined entirely from solid stainless steel bar stock, into Ring Locked Adapter design. It meets AS5550 and ABS0993 aerospace specification requirements and can withstand system pressures to 5,080 psi. While 7 standard hole diameters are available from 0.002-0.020 in., special designs are available upon request.

New Safety Screen Adapter Handles Higher System Pressures
WESTBROOK, CT - Lee's new 5k Flareless Tube Safety Screen Adapter integrates Lee's rugged HI-BAR safety screen, which is machined entirely from solid stainless steel bar stock, into a new Ring Locked Adapter design. This new design is capable of withstanding system pressures up to 5080 psi, compared to conventional flareless tube adapters which are rated for 4000 psi. Once the screen is installed into the lightweight titanium fitting, the assembly is 100% proof pressure tested before shipment to ensure reliable performance.
Available in -4, -6, -8 and -10 configurations, the adapter meets both of the latest aerospace specifications, AS5550 and ABS0993. Seven standard hole sizes ranging from 0.002" (50 micron) to 0.020" (500 micron) in diameter are offered, and special designs are available upon request.
