Combining durable mechanics and long-life, non-contacting Hall-effect technology, XL-VNSO has low-profile design for space-limited applications. This 1-, 2-, and 3-axis joystick, intended for high-duty cycle applications and rough environments, provides proportional control of electro-hydraulic proportional valves commonly found on off-road mobile equipment. It also accommodates applications requiring digital or analog command signals to control variable speed drives, PLCs, and MPUs.

New XL-VNSO High-Duty Cycle Joystick Controller with Hall Position Sensor
J.R. Merritt's new XL-VNSO joystick controller with Hall Position Sensor offers the same durable mechanics and long life, non-contacting Hall-effect technology as their standard model. The addition of the Hall Position Sensor, available only on the XL-VNSO, creates a more compact, low-profile controller to fit into narrow control consoles or areas where space is at a minimum.
This 1, 2 and 3 axis super rugged joystick for high-duty cycle applications and rough environments will provide precise proportional control of electro-hydraulic proportional valves commonly found on off-road mobile equipment. The XL-VNSO Joystick will also accommodate applications that require digital or analog command signals to control variable speed drives, PLCs and microprocessors, including CAN bus. It is suitable for use on cranes, bucket trucks, aerial work platforms and material handling equipment in the forestry, mining and construction industries.
The XL-VNSO is constructed with Nickel chromium gimbal yokes (properties similar to stainless steel), hardened steel bearings, polished steel shaft guides, bronze gate handle stops and dual compression return springs in each axis. A variety of standard and custom gates and a large selection of handles are available.
