Suited for identifying gas cylinders either individually, in whole shipments, on back of trucks, or in pallets, ring-shaped RFID metal tag can be installed on any cylinder shoulders either mechanically or by using industrial turnbuckle. Standard size is 32 mm ID and 63 mm external dia. Available in 125 kHz or 13.56 MHz, tag allows for tracking cylinders throughout their lives, from filling plant through delivery cycle back to owner.

Ring-Shaped RFID Tag for Gas Cylinder Tracking Unveiled
DAILY RFID, a Chinese leading manufacturer of RFID tags, has unveiled ring-shaped passive RFID Tag, specially designed for identifying gas cylinders either individually, in whole shipments, on the back of trucks or in pallets.
The Ring-shaped RFID tag for gas cylinder tracking, which is available in 125KHz or 13.56MHz, is a kind of the RFID Metal Tag Family. It can easily be installed on any cylinder shoulders either mechanically or by using industrial turnbuckle. The standard size is Internal Diameter 32mm, External Diameter 63mm and other sizes can be customerized.
Compare with active rfid tag, this read/write passive RFID Tag functions without a battery, thus with less ongoing maintenance. Integrated it into the RFID gas cylinder system, cylinders can thus be tracked throughout their lives, from the filling plant through the delivery cycle back to the owner and so on.
