Remit.NET Brings Next-Generation Technology to Remittance Processing

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo., Feb. 4 -- Summit Financial Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of Computer Services, Inc. (CSI) (Pink Sheets: CSVI), today announced the release of its Remit.NET image based remittance and lockbox processing system. Summit, the company that developed the banking industry's first .NET-based Proof of Deposit/Image Exchange solution, will unveil Remit.NET at the BAI TransPay conference in Grapevine, Texas, on February 5-7.

Remit.NET is a .NET-based, cost effective and easily deployable remittance solution that brings a fresh design and straightforward workflow to the remittance processing marketplace. Remit.NET is scalable, which allows it to be deployed in large centralized or distributed capture lockbox operations. The system can also be deployed in small remittance and merchant capture environments. Remit.NET draws on the powerful Summit.NET image capture and remote deposit platforms as the foundation for this "Next Generation" remittance and lockbox solution.

Using Summit's check image capture and exchange technology, Remit.NET eliminates many of the manual steps previous generation solutions required. It also provides a new level of flexibility and customization that allows lockbox operations to provide a greater range of services to customers. Enhanced features include intelligent balancing; payment allocation; integrated Image Quality Assurance (IQA); advanced CAR-LAR, Bar Code, and OCR recognition; and automatic conversion of forward presentment items to ACH (Back Office Conversion) or X9.37 items according to "rules" established for each account.

According to Ron Thill, President of Summit, "Remit.NET builds on the Summit.NET architecture to provide a robust platform that replaces previous generation remittance solutions and offers first-time remittance users a premier solution. The addition of Remit.NET to a product line that already includes OpenCapture.NET and OpenExchange.NET secures Summit's status as the company offering the industry's most extensive product line of 100 percent .NET-based "open" image payment processing solutions."
