New Heyco® Reducer Snap Bushings Reduce Hole Size and Convert Raw-Edged Holes to Smooth, Neat Insulated Holes in Through-Panel Applications

Heyco Products, Inc., a leading ISO 9001:2008 US-based designer and manufacturer of wire protection products and electronic components, has announced availability of their new Reducer Snap Bushings.

Designed for mounting hole diameters from .375" (9,5 mm) to 2.0" (50,8 mm) and panel thicknesses up to .125" (3,2 mm), the bushings insulate and mechanically protect electrical and telecommunications cables, tubing, hose, rope, and utility lines. They also provide a neater look where cable OD to bushing ID clearance is minimized.

The bushings are manufactured from 6/6 nylon in standard black color (consult Heyco for white and other colors), insert into mounting holes with fingertip pressure, feature locking fingers that secure the bushing in fractional increments up to the maximum panel thickness, and withstand a push back force of 35 pounds. They also have a flammability rating of 94 V-2, are recognized under the Component Program of Underwriters' Laboratories File E15331, and are certified by the Canadian Standards Association File 8919.
