Ashtabula, OH: The Poly-Trux® 54P-18 recycling collection cart from material handling product manufacturer Meese Orbitron Dunne Co., Ashtabula, Ohio (www.Recycleosaurus.com) is now available with an optional, ergonomic spring loaded platform to reduce bending and reaching into the utility truck, ease lifting and promote complete dumping. Set inside the utility truck, the durable plastic platform automatically rises as bottles, cans, papers, scrap metal and other materials are removed for recycling or for transfer to larger containers while hiding the spring mechanism underneath to prevent contact. Developed to promote worker safety, the spring loaded recycling cart aids compliance with OSHA's general duty clause 29 USC 654 covering work positioning.
Useful for recycling companies, waste brokers, document destruction companies, municipalities and others concerned with worker safety and efficiency, the ergonomic 54P-18 collection cart is rotationally molded of 100% weatherproof, waterproof polyethylene for long-term, indoor-outdoor operation. The bulk truck is set on a heavy-duty base combining 5/8" painted marine plywood with six industrial strength, non-marking casters. A choice of 16 colors is included as standard and a variety of options is offered including custom colors, permanent lettering and graphics, covers, tow hitches and forklift safety tubes for secure cart dumping.
