High open area and acid-resistant design for greatest mass transfer efficiency

Ideal for SO4 (sulfuric acid towers), SO3 (sulfite) converters, and HRS (heat recovery system) towers, 3-inch FLEXISADDLE LPD provides a 35+% lower pressure drop than alternative 3-inch saddles with the same mass transfer efficiency.

Three-inch FLEXISADDLE LPD from Koch Knight is a less-expensive alternative to structured packing, and its mass transfer efficiency translates into reduced operating costs. Plant operation savings with FLEXISADDLE LPD includes reduced blower operating costs, increased unit capacity and throughput, and improvements to other ancillary equipment where pressure drop savings may be applied.
