1U Rack-Mount Keyboard Includes Mouse

Most rack-mount keyboards come with counterintuitive touchpads or mouse buttons. Now CyberResearch® announces the OIX 1711 105-key keyboard, which comes with a familiar full-size mouse and a built-in mousepad. The mousepad surface can be easily shifted to either side to suit right- or left-handed users.

The OIX 1711 rack-mount keyboard with mouse and MousePocket(TM) storage compartment adds the familiar, intuitive feel of a mouse to your rack-mount PC system. When fully extended, the heavy-duty 1U steel drawer provides a full-size keyboard.

In front of the keyboard is a raised area covered with a durable mousepad surface and a MousePocket storage compartment. All it takes is a screwdriver to shift the mousepad from left to right, exposing the opposite MousePocket and making the mouse better suited to right- or left-handed use. A full-size Microsoft® mouse is included with each keyboard.

The 105-key full-travel keyboard has 12 function keys. It is compatible with PS/2 or DN connectors. The mouse is compatible with PS/2 or USB connectors.

In addition to rack-mount keyboards and display/keyboard combos - now shipping from stock - CyberResearch, Inc., also offers rack-mount and panel-mount PCs, as well as CPU cards, monitors, data-acquisition, and motion-control systems.
