Accusys ExaSAN A12S2-PS RAID - "The One and Only Solution You Need"
Hsinchu, Taiwan., - Accusys is introducing its precision ExaSAN A12S2-PS storage system, a dedicated RAID solution based on high-speed PCI Express 2.0 that fulfills all broadcast and post production film/video editing requirements. The ExaSAN A12S2 provides a range of storage capacities for the media and entertainment industry. "Built from the ground up" and in-house by Accusys, the ExaSAN A12S2-PS is specifically designed to be the easiest method to enjoy high-speed data access for single video/film editing workstations assuring full-time availability and flexible scalability, all within a convenient small framework without the complexity or cost of conventional fiber channel.

The ExaSAN A12S2-PS, the newest member of the ExaSAN family, offers high performance, availability and scalability. It features PCI Express 2.0 technology capable of reaching read speeds of up to 1200MB/s with only twelve drives and can easily perform on multiple HD, 2K and 4K DPX video formats, even dual stream stereoscopic 3D editing workflows. The ExaSAN A12S2-PS is a 2U12Bay disk array system designed for all Color Grading, Stereoscopic 3D, Mlti-Layer Clip Editing, and Visual Effects, as well as supporting RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 6, and 0+1, high speed 6Gb SAS drives, and high capacity SATA II drives. The Single port RAID controller of the ExaSAN A12S2-P2 combined with 12 drives can provide 20Gb bandwidth with its unique Performance Optimization feature.
