Die cut part prototypes, samples for testing, and pre-production runs can be produced from various flexible materials – foams, rubber, silicone, sponge, plastics, fabrics, felts, textiles, and tapes – up to 1 in. thick. Prototyped parts made out of flexible materials may include gaskets, seals, guards, dampeners, and protective packaging.

Minneapolis, Minnesota – Industrial Custom Products (ICP) is introducing a new program for Die Cut Parts Prototyping for parts made from flexible materials.

ICP developed this prototyping program for designers and engineers to move seamlessly from product development and prototyping to manufacturing production quantities.

ICP’s CNC based ATOM Flashcut dieless knife cutting system has no tooling requirements. Die cut part prototypes, samples for testing and pre-production runs can be produced quickly from a wide variety of flexible materials up to one inch in thickness, including foams, rubber, silicone, sponge, plastics, fabrics, felts, textiles and tapes.

Prototyped parts made out of flexible materials may include gaskets, seals, guards, dampeners and protective packaging.
