Vision290(TM) includes 5.7 in. graphic HMI screen that displays touchable images and text. Trends Graphs, user-designed or imported images, text instructions, and variable data are displayed according to run-time conditions. Operator can enter data into PLC via virtual keypad that is displayed on screen whenever application requires. Vision290 offers PID with internal auto-tune, 120 K database for recipes/data logging, remote access, and remote programming.

Vision290(TM): PLC with Embeded Touchscreen HMI
Unitronics, October 2005- Vision290(TM) is a controller that integrates a high-performance PLC & embedded touch-screen into a single, high-performance device.
The 5.7" graphic HMI screen displays both 'touchable' images and texts. 'Touch' properties can be assigned to any text or graphic on-screen element. Trends Graphs, user-designed or imported images, text instructions, and variable data are displayed according to run-time conditions. The operator can enter data into the PLC via a virtual keypad, which is automatically displayed on the screen whenever the application requires.
The V290 can be ordered with a Snap-in I/O module that provides an on-board I/O configuration, expandable up to 171 I/Os. Each Snap-in module offers a useful combination of Digital and Analog I/Os, to create the most cost effective solution. Temperature and weight direct inputs are available in selected models.
Like all Vision controllers, V290 offers: PID with internal Autotune, internal 120K database for recipes/data logging, remote access and remote programming. COM options include Ethernet via TCP/IP, GSM/GPRS/CDMA, MODBUS, CANbus, plus a broad variety of protocols via RS232/RS485.
