API Technologies Launches New Product Introduction (NPI) Service for its SenDEC Division


Open House to Include Tour of Fairport, NY Facility and Interactive Demonstration of Prototype Manufacturing Capabilities

API Technologies Corp., a provider of electronic systems, subsystems, RF, and secure systems for defense, aerospace, and commercial applications, announced today the official launch of the SenDEC New Product Introduction (NPI) service. An Open House is scheduled Thursday, June 16th from 2 - 6 p.m., at the new 20,000 sq. ft. SenDEC NPI facility, 71 Perinton Parkway, Fairport, NY.

During this event, visitors will tour the facility, which includes new multi-million dollar state-of-the-art equipment, and participate in an interactive demonstration to experience NPI prototype manufacturing capabilities firsthand. Local dignitaries will join company executives for the ribbon cutting at 2:15 p.m.

The SenDEC NPI service oversees the manufacture of prototypes, which are the most difficult part of any manufacturing engagement. It's uniquely trained NPI team leverages design, engineering, and manufacturing expertise, as well as specialized equipment, to deliver customers fast and high-performing prototypes. NPI capabilities include: PCB layout, BOM scrubbing, documentation verification, material management, rapid prototyping, testing, and pilot/production/pre-production builds.
