Tel-Tru adds Sanitary Pressure Gauges to its Robust Sanitary Lineup
(May 10, 2006) Rochester, NY -- Tel-Tru Manufacturing Company, a leading supplier of thermometers, pressure gauges and transmitters, announces the introduction of Sanitary Pressure Gauges, the latest in Tel-Tru's lineup of heavy-duty sanitary instrumentation. These pressure gauges are engineered to meet the stringent performance and material demands within dairy, food, chemical, biotechnology and pharmaceutical environments.
All models are designed and manufactured to meet 3A Standard Number 74-02, Sanitary Standards for Sensors and Sensor Fittings and Connections. Tel-Tru's Select Line, Fractional Seal, and Homogenizer models are certified to this 3A standard.
The gauges are available in 2½" or 4" case sizes. Configurations include back-connected and lower back-connected models. Diaphragm seal fitting connections are standard in 316L Stainless Steel with 1½", 2" and ¾" Tri-Clamp® sizes. Other options, fitting types and 3.1.B certificates are available.
Select Line: The Select Line sanitary pressure gauges with heavy duty 316 SS glycerine filled cases and accurate to better than ±1% full scale, are designed for the most demanding dairy and food processing applications. A unique internal temperature compensation system provides correct readings even during extreme variations in external temperature.
Plus Line: The Plus Line sanitary pressure gauges are a cost-effective alternative to the Select Line gauges for sanitary applications.
Fractional Seal: Fractional seal gauges meet the most stringent requirements for pharmaceutical and biotech applications. All external surfaces are electropolished 316 SS, with a 316L SS electropolished ¾" APC (Tri-Clamp) fitting and seal. A patented temperature compensation system ensures accuracy. May be CIP or SIP, both dry and filled types can be autoclaved.
Autoclaveable: Autoclaveable gauges have all 316 SS external parts with 316L SS 1½" Tri-Clamp fitting and seals. They are designed for installation in mobile tanks in pharmaceutical plants, and for hospital and biotech processing equipment that require external autoclaving without removing the gauge to meet both hygienic and production efficiency requirements.
Homogenizer: The heavy-duty all 316 SS case Homogenizer gauges are accurate to better than ±1% full scale, liquid filled for vibration and pulsation damping, temperature compensated and have a safety blowout device. Special diaphragm seals with or without flanges fit homogenizers; pressure ranges go from 1,500 to 20,000 PSI.
