Built around G-series deluge valve, G-4000P line of preaction systems are available in single and double interlock configurations, as well as SureFireŽ fail safe version. Compact systems come with complete preaction trim assembled to deluge valve, and include water supply control valve, switches, and drain connection. Grooved section of galvanized piping is installed on top of deluge valve to facilitate installation and service.

Viking Introduces New Preaction Systems

Hastings, MI, USA - Viking Corporation, a global leader in fire protection products and services, is pleased to introduce its new G-4000P line of preaction systems. Built around Viking's innovative G-series deluge valve, the Model G-4000P is available in single and double interlock configurations as well as Viking's exclusive SureFireŽ fail safe preaction system.
These new preaction systems, which are cULus Listed and FM Approved, offer many design and installation advantages including simplified trim, reduced weight, and a compact size. Each system is factory-tested and pre-assembled with complete preaction trim assembled to the deluge valve. The water supply control valve, switches, and a drain connection are also included. Additionally, a grooved section of galvanized piping is installed on top of the deluge valve to facilitate installation and service.
The new G-series deluge valve's innovative design includes an internal check valve, thus eliminating the need for a separate check valve in the system riser. Coated with a durable black E-coat, the new deluge valve has a pressure rating of 250 PSI (17.2 bar).
