Telemetrics Unveils Economical Camera Robotics Power Supplies
Provide Economical Alternative To Rack Mounted Power Supplies.
Las Vegas, NV (April 19, 2004) - Telemetrics, Inc. is displaying a new series of power supplies designed to provide a cost-efficient alternative to rack mounted power supplies for camera robotics applications. The new PS-PACK and PSO-PACK-CAM Power Supplies can be mounted at the camera site providing power to a Telemetrics pan/tilt head as well as the camera.
"There are numerous applications when it is more cost-effective to power the camera at the camera site when AC power is available," said Anthony Cuomo, Vice President, Telemetrics, Inc. "Telemetrics' new PS-Pack Power Supplies provide a cost-efficient solution by providing power to a pan/tilt head and/or camera at the camera location."
The PS-PACK and PSO-PACK-CAM Power Supplies are designed to be located near the pan/tilt head installation when AC power is available. The PS-PACK interfaces directly to the pan/tilt head power connector to provide 244V AC. The PSO-PACK-CAM can be added to the PS-PACK to provide power to the camera through the same connection.
Telemetrics' PS-PACK and PSO-PACK-CAM Power Supplies have female XLR-6 connectors that plug directly into Telemetrics pan/tilt heads. An additional XLR-6 connector on the PSO-PACK-CAM allows both the pan/tilt and the camera to be combined into a single female XLR-6 connector. The units can be powered from 90 to 264V AC through universal IEC320/C8 power inlets using individual power cords, allowing them to accept virtually any voltage from any AC power cord around the world.
