Featuring input range of 11-100 Vdc, Model PQ-28 is rated up to 200 W with 95% efficiency and switching frequency of 200 kHz. Load regulation is typically 0.1%, temperature coefficient is 150 ppm/°C, and baseplate to pin isolation is 700 Vdc. Housed in 2.28 x 2.4 x 0.5 in. package with case operating temperature of -40 to 100°C, module interfaces with MIL-STD-1275, 28 Vdc power bus. Unit offers input reverse polarity protection as well as short circuit protection with auto restart.

Calex Mfg. Co., Inc. of Concord California announces the availability of the PQ-28 DC input conditioning module. The PQ-28 has an extremely wide (10:1) input range of
11 to 100 VDC. The unit is rated up to 200 Watts and is housed in a compact 2.28" x 2.4" x 0.5"H package. The PQ-28 is designed to interface with the MIL-STD-1275,
28 VDC power bus and is designed to meet UL60950.
The PQ-28 is optimized for use with Calex DC/DC converters and is ideal as an ultra-wide input range front end or alternatively as a module for MIL-STD-1275 compliance.
The efficiency of the PQ-28 is 95%. The switching frequency of the PQ-28 is 200 kHz. Load regulation is typically 0.1%. The temperature coefficient of the PQ-28 is 150 ppm/C. The baseplate to pin isolation is 700VDC. The case operating temperature range of the PQ-28 is -40 to 100º C. The MTBF according to MIL-HDBK-217F is just over 170k hours. All units offer input reverse polarity protection as well as short circuit protection with auto restart. The PQ-28 is made in the USA and backed with Calex's Five Year Warranty.
