Upgraded Portable Readout Simultaneously Displays Two Input Variables

January 4, 2006 - Webster Instruments, Milwaukee WI

The new HPM420 series portable hand-held readout now features two line display for simultaneous readings from two variable inputs making this unit ideal for diagnostic measurements of flow, pressure, pressure differential, temperature, speed, current and voltage. Automatic sensor recognition frees the operator from entering calibration data and allows the use of a Webster Instruments Smart Sensor in any of the available channels.

There are also 4 or 6 input models with simultaneous measurement and data logging capability. The HPM series includes high-speed data logging with a variable scanning rate of as low as 1 ms (1000 readings per second), making it possible to measure and record pressure spikes in real time with internal pre-set trigger value or external triggering. The HPM have memory for up to 250,000 readings and a large screen allows the user to monitor all active inputs simultaneously. Once the data has been collected the results can be displayed graphically for quick on-site analysis or transmitted via RS232 port to Windows compatible software allowing further measurement evaluation and graphical processing using a PC.
