New Automotive Coaxial Connector
USCAR Plugs & Jacks were developed in accordance to the specific requirements of the American Automotive industry. They support all RF applications found in cars such as radio and TV broadcast, GSM, GPS. Compared with first generation FAKRA products, they bring a new set of characteristics to the market. 3 additional color and mechanical codings are available for satellite radio application that brings the total number of codings to 14. These plugs and jacks offer a higher cable retention force up to 110N for standard 5/50 cable RG58 and for 2.6/50 cable RG316. This high retention force can also be reached with specific RG174 type cable. They are usable up to 6 GHz and optimized for a frequency range from 0-4 GHz. They withstand -40°C to +110°C temperature range.
