VERNON Tool Introduces the MasterPipe(TM) Profiler for Cutting and Profiling Pipe
New, cost effective system offers a 2-axis, CNC controlled system to improve pipe fabrication productivity
Oceanside, Calif. - VERNON Tool, a Lincoln Electric company, introduces an addition to its line of pipe cutting, beveling and profiling products - the MasterPipe(TM) Profiler (MPP). This new system integrates several features and functions for small- to medium-sized fabricators of handrails, fencing, bicycle frames and other tube frame assemblies.
The economically priced MasterPipe Profiler is a two-axis, CNC controlled pipe cutting machine capable of cutting and profiling pipe ranging from 1 to 12-inch outer diameter (OD) and up to 40-feet in length. Standard cuts include mid-section holes, miters, multi-intersection, centerline offsets, saddles and straight cuts.
Designed to VERNON Tool's rugged, quality-driven standards, the system is built to endure the rigors of pipe fabrication environments. The MasterPipe Profiler is powered by VERNON Tool's standard Windows®-based operating system, WinMPM. This easy-to-use, icon-driven touch screen interface makes operator training and implementation seamless, meaning fabricators can get into production within hours, not days.
The MasterPipe Profiler improves productivity and quality by consolidating set-up, programming and cutting into one operation. When a pipe is loaded onto the MPP, operators simply enter the pipe dimensional data and select the types of cuts from the VERNON Tool cut library. The menu-driven operating system is easy to use and does not require highly skilled operators.
Additionally, the system is outfitted with a large pre-loaded cut library, providing maximum pipe configuration flexibility.
