JLON(TM) PTFE Stock Shapes provide specific properties for machining bearings, bushings, gaskets, seals, piston rings, and other wear components. Different fillers, including carbon, glass, polymer, bronze, mineral, graphite, and proprietary materials, are used to achieve specific wear properties. Material can be supplied as molded or extruded rod from 1/8-8 in. OD, tube from 3/8-36 in. OD, sheet up to 4 ft˛, and skived and etched film.

Stock Filled PTFE Shapes Feature Specific Wear Properties
A line of stock PTFE shapes that provide specific properties for machining bearings, bushings, gaskets, seals, piston rings, and other wear components is being introduced by Jade Engineered Plastics, Inc. of Bristol, RI.
Jade JLON(TM) PTFE Stock Shapes are offered in five standard series featuring different fillers including carbon, glass, polymer, bronze, mineral, graphite, and proprietary materials to achieve specific wear properties. They can be supplied as molded or extruded rod from 1/8" to 8" O.D., tube from 3/8" up to 36" O.D., sheet up to 4 ft.sq., and skived and etched film.
A suitable replacement for RulonŽ, Jade JLON(TM) PTFE Stock Shapes include the JLON(TM) 2000 Series which is a high strength material; JLON(TM) 4000 for use against hard surfaces; JLON(TM) 5000 for high speed dynamic components; JLON(TM) 7000 for FDA-approved parts; and JLON(TM) 8000 for wet applications. Data sheets with complete performance specifications are offered for each series.
