PTFE Compounded Material exhibits chemical resistance.January 5, 2007 -
With working temperature range of -320 to +500°F, RulonŽ P30 is available in rods, tubes, sheets, or custom-fabricated finished parts for technical applications that require porosity, anti-adhesion, and universal chemical resistance. Purity of material ensures that no fluid it comes in contact with will become contaminated, and hydrophobic nature prevents water absorption. Uses include measuring devices, pH sensors, control systems, fluid management, and spectrometer applications.

New RulonŽ Porous Material
Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics announces a new addition to its RulonŽ line of PTFE compounded materials - "Rulon P30". This material was developed for highly technical applications that require porosity, superior anti-adhesion and universal chemical resistance, which makes cleaning easier and quicker. The purity of this material ensures that no fluid it comes in contact with will become contaminated and its hydrophobic manner prevents water absorption. With a working temperature range of -320° F (-200°C ) to +500° F (+260°C ), Rulon P30 is available in rods, tubes, or sheets as well as custom fabricated finished parts. It is ideal for gas permeation, measuring devices, pH sensors, control systems, fluid management and spectrometer applications in the analytical, filtration, chemical, aerospace, semiconductor, automotive and optical markets.
