PEEK(TM) Beading (Rod) Offers High Strength to Weight Ratio

Parker-TexMed of Fort Worth, Texas, now offers PEEK(TM) beading (rod) for applications where high strength and high purity are critical to the success of the project. TexFluor(TM) PEEK(TM) beading is USP Class VI compliant and can repeatedly withstand sterilization with E-Beam/Gamma, ETO or Steam Autoclave. These features, coupled with high tensile strength and excellent abrasion resistance, make it a popular alternative to glass, stainless steel and other metals.

TexFluor(TM) PEEK(TM) beading is extruded in a clean room extrusion manufacturing facility that features closed loop extrusion systems capable of holding precision tolerances of +/- .0005". Featuring 14065~14500 psi tensile strength and a maximum service temperature of 500ºF (higher upon cross-linking), TexFluor(TM) PEEK(TM) beading is available in small sizes from .005" I.D. (with tolerances as closes as +/-.0005") up to .250" I.D. (with tolerances as close as .005"). The clean room facility compliments Parker-TexMed's existing Class 10,000 clean room currently utilized to clean, inspect, and package.

Pricing is based on size, quantity and other customer requirements. Literature is provided upon request. (PEEK(TM) is a registered trademark of Victrex)
