November 5, 2007 - Able to support 2 Type I or Type II 32-bit PC cards or one Type III, model 335 allows for expansion of additional functions such as 10/100/1000 Mbps wireless Ethernet adapters, biometric/Bluetooth/memory/ISDN/GPS cards, and rotating hard drives. Other applicable functionality expansion options include CD-ROM/cell phone/docking station/parallel port interfaces, Ethernet LAN/SCSI adapters, and IR WLAN Adapters as well as Modem/Ethernet combination cards, smartcard readers, and VGA.

PC/104-plus Adapter board from Sensoray supports both CardBus and PC cards

Sensoray announced the newest addition to their PC/104 line of products, the model 335. The 335 is a PC/104+ module that supports CardBus and PC cards (PCMCIA). The 335 will support two Type I or Type II 32 bit PC cards or one Type III allowing the expansion of additional functions such as:

o 10/100/1000 Mbps Wireless Ethernet Adapters
o AM/FM Radio Tuner
o Biometrics cards (Fingerprint reader)
o Bluetooth cards
o CD-ROM Interface
o Cellular Phone Interface (WAN)
o Docking Station Interface
o Ethernet LAN Adapters
o GPS (Global Positioning System) Cards
o Hard Drives (Rotating)
o Infrared Wireless LAN Adapters
o ISDN Cards
o Memory Cards - Flash, SRAM, and many others
o Memory Cards Adapters - SD, , MMC, SmartMedia, CompactFlash, MemoryStick, etc.
o Modem/Ethernet Combination Cards
o Parallel Port Interface
o SCSI Adapters
o SmartCard Readers
o Sound Cards, Input and Output
o Token Ring LAN Adapter Cards
o VGA

CardBus modules used with the 335 are treated as a normal PCI device with the benefit of being able to be hot swapped with the system powered up.

Sensoray's 335 supports both Windows and Linux operating systems.
