Optical Spectroscopic Cuvette Sampler offers temperature control.

Press Release Summary:

Model FCV-150 fiber-optic coupled cuvette sampling system is compatible with Fourier Transform Infrared and dispersive spectrometers operating in NIR and UV-Vis spectral regions. System's sampling region accommodates cuvettes with path lengths from 1-50 mm as well as preheating zone, providing for rapid interchange of up to 15 samples. Use of fiber-optic coupling enables sample analysis in fume hood or in other locations separated from spectroscopic analyzer.

New Fiber-Optic Coupled Spectroscopic Cuvette Sampler Provides Precise Temperature Control

TUSTIN, Calif. - Axiom Analytical, Inc. has announced its FCV-150 fiber-optic coupled cuvette sampling system. The new optical transmission sampler is compatible with Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) and dispersive spectrometers operating in the near-infrared (NIR) and UV-Visible spectral regions. It provides precise temperature control while accommodating sample containing cuvettes with a wide range of optical path lengths.

The FCV-150 features a sampling region accommodating cuvettes with path lengths from 1 to 50 mm as well as a preheating zone. This combination provides for rapid interchange of up to 15 samples. The use of fiber-optic coupling facilitates sample analysis in a fume hood or in other locations separated from the spectroscopic analyzer.

The Company anticipates that the FCV-150 will find application in quality control and service laboratories as well as chemical and pharmaceutical development and modeling for process analytical technology (PAT) applications.
