Model 4500 Premier offers dust measurement range of 0-10 mg/Nm³ with accuracy of ±0.5% opacity. LED source provides homegenity necessary for extremely low-level measurement. Fail-safe, air-powered shutter is self-cleaning and operates with positive closure, maintaining instrument protection from hot flue gases. Premier 4500 satisfies US EPA CFR 40, Part 60, Subpart AA, Standards of Performance for Steel Plants.

Model 4500 Premier
True 0 to 10% opacity and 0 to 10 mg/m³ dust measurement!
The Model 4500 Premier is a revolutionary new opacity monitor capable of accurate, low-level dust measurement. A dust measurement range of 0 to 10 mg/Nm³ is now possible with an accuracy of ± 0.5 % opacity. The Premier uses an advanced design LED source (patent pending) that provides the homogeneity
necessary for extremely low-level measurement.
The Premier satisfies the US EPA CFR 40, Part 60, Subpart AA, "Standards of Performance for Steel Plants". It has been designed specifically for use in these applications where very low-level opacity measurements are required.
In addition, it is the first instrument to be approved to the US EPA CPS - 001 standard for 0 to 10 % opacity measurement.
The Premier retains all the class-leading features of the 4500 MkII+, but with improved measurement performance, accuracy and repeatability. The new design offers unrivalled performance even in the most demanding applications.
The introduction of the 4500 Premier expands the existing range of LAND dust monitors, meeting the requirements of a wide range of industrial processes. This new instrument broadens the applications further, adding low-level compliance monitoring capability.
The new instrument, benefits from the same patented measurement method used in all LAND dust and opacity monitors.
A new fail-safe shutter is being introduced with both the Premier and all LAND dust monitors. The new design is air-powered, self-cleaning and operates with a positive closure. It is simple to fit and maintain and provides maximum instrument protection from hot flue gases.
