Touch panel features backlit LCD display, controls for instrument set-up, and indicators for System OK, Alarms, and Calibration in Progress. Suitable for industrial applications that demand flue dust emissions compliance monitoring, unit has TUV and US EPA approvals. Modbus communications and two analog outputs are standard.

New Opacity Monitor - Model 4500mkll+ - the best just got better!!
NEWTOWN, PA - Land Instruments has launched the NEW Model 4500mkII+.
The new Model 4500mkII+ flue gas dust and opacity monitor is the latest, enhanced version of the highly successful 4500mkII. The 4500mkII+ retains all the class-leading features and performance of the mkII, but with improved ergonomics, a fully integrated touch panel and stainless steel junction box.
The 4500mkII+ is suitable for a wide range of industrial applications where the need for flue dust emissions compliance monitoring is demanded.
The new instrument, which boasts both TUV and US EPA approvals, benefits from the patented measurement method used in all Land dust and opacity monitors.
The new integral touch panel features a backlit LCD display, simple controls for instrument set-up, and indicators for System OK, Alarms and Calibration in Progress.
Several other improvements have been made which include an improved retro-reflector and higher corrosion resistance. Modbus communications and two analog outputs are now standard on all instruments.
The Junction Box features a stainless steel case, and has rail mounted connections for instrument power, modbus communications and analog outputs. A single umbilical cable carries all these services from the instrument to the junction box.
The Model 4500mkII+ retains the proven purging and fail-safe shutter elements of the 4500mkII; and has identical mounting arrangements. It also retains the reputation for outstanding performance and reliability formed by its predecessor.
