New Oligomer from Sartomer Enhances Durability for Automotive Applications

EXTON, Pa. - Global specialty chemicals manufacturer Sartomer USA, LLC now offers CN9025, a new, highly functional aliphatic urethane acrylate that is ideal for UV/EB-cured hard-coat applications in the automotive industry, including body panels, head lamps, plastic parts and accessories.

CN9025 is non-yellowing and fast curing. It is a PETA-free product, providing reduced irritation risk to formulators and production personnel.

Coatings that employ CN9025 demonstrate outstanding abrasion resistance, chemical resistance and weatherability compared to products formulated with competitive hexafunctional urethane acrylate oligomers. Thus, CN9025 may increase the resilience and lifespan of coated automotive components.

Globally based in Exton. Pa., Sartomer USA, LLC is part of Total's chemical branch. Sartomer is the premier global supplier of specialty chemical additives for ultraviolet and electron beam (UV/EB), peroxide, and two-part epoxy/amine systems.
