The Environmental Division of Acoustical Solutions, Inc. is excited to introduce the AcoustiWood(TM) fence and lightweight wall system.
The Acoustical Solutions AcoustiWood(TM) system is an economical lightweight wooden post-and-panel noise barrier fence solution, designed to abate noise for highway, residential, commercial and industrial applications.
Preliminary field test results show reductions of as much as 26 decibels, with excellent results in harder to mitigate lower frequency ranges, a characteristic typically only found in much higher priced alternatives.
By applying value engineering for individual projects, the AcoustiWood(TM) panels can be reconfigured to produce higher or lower STC requirements.
The AcoustiWood(TM) system panels are available in three standard sizes, making retrofits to existing structures easy and cost-effective.
A variety of finishes can be applied to the AcoustiWood system, including: "dog ear" fencing, stucco, vinyl, metals, or lattice. The unique ability to integrate several finishes to the wall system makes the AcoustiWood(TM) system ideally suited for use in locations such as residential development and commercial areas, where design-specific regulations exist.
In addition to meeting the desired esthetic needs for a project, the AcoustiWood(TM) can also be designed to fit AASHTO standards for commercial projects.
