NPT Threaded Nylon Plugs for the Protection of NPT Threaded Ports
Erie, PA - New to Alliance Plastics are NPT Threaded Nylon Plugs. These plugs, made of natural nylon, are used to protect NPT threaded ports and are available with an optional O-Ring. The unique head design allows the user to apply or remove this plug by hand or with a 12 point socket head, screwdriver or wrench. The optional O-ring gives this part a watertight seal for superior leakage protection. These plugs are recommended when strength and abrasion resistance are desired. The nylon material absorbs paint, thus keeping paint flakes to a minimum. Nylon is recommended for intermittent temperatures of 230°F (110°C) to -40°F (-40°C).
