Monochrome 2 and 4 MP Basler ace CMOSIS GigE cameras are available as NIR-optimized variants with optimized sensitivity at wavelengths of 900 nm. Suited for surveillance, intelligent traffic systems, or biometrics, cameras occupy 29 x 29 mm footprint and offer optimized software trigger functionality for high-speed triggering over GigE bus. Feature set includes partial scan, horizontal mirroring, configurable I/O lines, timestamp, and frame counter.

Compared to the regular mono cameras, they achieve double the sensitivity at wavelengths of 900 nm. Thus, they offer decisive advantages under bad lighting conditions or at night. They are an ideal choice for surveillance tasks, intelligent traffic systems, or biometrics. The price/performance ratio for these models is remarkable. The ace NIR variants exceed even high-quality CCD cameras in matters of image quality and sensitivity.
