Bell Microproducts' Hammer(TM) Storage Division Adds New Network-Attached Storage Appliance to its Product Line
Based on the 600 MHz Intel XScale(R) 80219 Processor, Hammer's New NA-1400 Appliance Ideal for Small to Medium Businesses
SAN JOSE, Calif., April 6 -- Hammer Storage, a division of Bell Microproducts, Inc. (NASDAQ:BELM), today announced the addition of the Hammer(TM) NA-1400 Network-Attached Storage Appliance to its product line. The new Hammer NA-1400 is a high capacity device, providing up to two terabytes of external storage in a compact, toaster-sized package. With the support of Active Directory Services and unmatched security features, the Hammer NA-1400 continues to move Hammer Storage into the business network storage space.
The Hammer NA-1400 is designed by Newisys, Inc., a leading developer of computing and storage designs, and manufactured by its parent company Sanmina-SCI, a leading global electronics manufacturing services (EMS) company. Based on the 600 MHz Intel XScale(R) 80219 processor and the 4-port Intel 31244 PCI-X to Serial ATA controller makes the NA-1400 an intuitive, plug and play storage solution that is easy to install, use and manage.
Continuing to build on the retail success of the Hammer Storage brand, Bell is expanding the Hammer line to the business market segment by the addition of the Hammer NA-1400 to its assortment of business products.
