HASCO Round Latch Locking Device Z 178/...

HASCO has extended its range of latch locking devices with a new compact internally mounted variant, the Z178/... . Internal latch locking units have the advantage that they do not increase the dimensions of the mould and, being protected inside the mould, ensure reliable graduation of the plate opening movements.

With its outside diameter of 22 or 26 mm, this unit is a particularly space-saving device that allows strokes of up to 55 mm. With the aid of the supplied flange, it is simple to apply for many applications. The stroke can be variably defined by shortening the pulling rod Z 1781/... .The housing can also be cut to the required length to adapt it to the relative plate thickness.

Inside, robust segments ensure high power transmission through precise positive-lock positioning. A dampened stroke limit stop ensures a soft, low-noise and gentle sequence of motions.

Another special feature for added safety and reliability in production is the locking of the pulled plate. With this system, the return motion takes place in the same sequence as the opening stroke. This new latch locking device is a useful addition to HASCO's wide range of products for the demoulding process.
