Modular Industrial Pressure Transducers work with difficult media.
May 6, 2014 -
Available in gage, sealed gage, and absolute pressure reference types, UltraStable™ U5200 and U5300 have stainless steel housing and are suited for liquid or gas pressure measurement. Both weatherproof models offer various pressure port and electrical configurations and are available with optional stainless steel snubber. While U5200 has 2–10,000 psi pressures range, up to ±0.1% accuracy, and up to ±0.75% Total Error Band, respective values for U5300 are 15–10,000 psi, ±0.1%, and ±0.5%.

Measurement Specialties, Inc. (NASDAQ: MEAS) has just released to production its new modular high accuracy U5200 and U5300 industrial pressure transducers from its UltraStable(tm) line that offers maximum flexibility for different configurations. Constructed with a stainless steel housing, this transducer is suitable for measurement of liquid or gas pressure, even for difficult media such as contaminated water, steam and mildly corrosive fluids. The U5200 and U5300 are CE compliant, weatherproof, compact, and offered with a variety of pressure port and electrical configurations as well as an optional stainless steel snubber to protect against pressure spikes.
With no o-rings, welds or organics exposed to the pressure media, both the U5200 and U5300 are available in gage, sealed gage and absolute pressure reference types. Operating at -40°C to +125°C with a current consumption of <5mA (V output), these transducers can withstand proof pressure of at least 3X rated and burst pressure of 4X rated.
