April 17, 2006 - Suited for commercial and institutional applications, single-fixture Model 108 Thermostatic Water Mixing Valve incorporates 3/8 in. connections and wax element to control temperature. It allows for close approach temperature, so that mix temperature can be within 5°F of hot supply temperature. Valve features bronze body, copper encapsulated thermostat assembly with brass shuttle, stainless steel springs, Buna-N O-rings, and integral check valves on hot and cold inlets.

Leonard Valve Company Introduces New Single-Fixture Point-Of-Use Thermostatic Water Mixing Valve


CRANSTON, RI - Leonard Valve Company announces the introduction of the Model 108 single-fixture point-of-use thermostatic water mixing valve for commercial and institutional applications.

Leonard's new thermostatic water mixing valve incorporates a strong wax element to control temperature, 3/8" compression connections and a wider supply temperature range that can accept higher hot water supply temperature. The valve also allows for a
closer approach temperature, so that the mix temperature can be within 5 degrees F of the hot supply temperature.

The competitively priced Model 108 is designed with a simple temperature adjustment knob that is lockable and needs no special tools. A cold water by-pass fitting option supplies tempered and cold water to one fixture. The valve also features a bronze body, copper encapsulated thermostat assembly with brass shuttle, stainless steel springs, Buna-N: O rings and integral check valves on hot and cold inlets.
