December 26, 2012 - Featuring 16.8 mm profile, Model ITX-a55E3 is equipped with AMD G-T56N/T40N APU and FCH A55E chipset as well as soldered onboard 2 GB DDR3 SDRAM. Board provides 6 serial ports, dual SATA ports, one mSATA SSD socket, 8 USB 2.0 ports, and dual Gigabit Ethernet ports. For expansion, unit offers 1 PCI, 1 PCIe, 1 Mini-Card, and SIM card. With analog RGB, DVI, and dual-channel 24-bit LVDS interfaces, plus touchscreen controller, motherboard is suited for digital signage and HMI applications.

ARBOR Releases Industrial-Grade Mini-ITX Motherboard with AMD G Series APU


ARBOR Technology introduces Mini-ITX form factor motherboard ITX-a55E3, comes with low power AMD G series APU G-T56N/T40N and FCH A55E chipset as well as soldered onboard 2GB DDR3 SDRAM. Featuring 16.8 mm height ultra low-profile, 9~36V wide range DC power input and battery charger circuit design, the ITX-a55E3 meets all kinds of requirements for embedded application.

The ITX-a55E3 provides six serial ports (with four for RS-232 and two for RS-232/422/485), dual SATA ports, one mSATA SSD socket, eight USB 2.0 ports, dual gigabit Ethernet ports and rich expansion interfaces including one PCI, one PCIe (along with riser card), one Mini-Card and SIM card. The high expansion capability makes the board scalable to adapt to wide range of applications.

ARBOR ITX-a55E3 also offers display interfaces such as high resolution Analog RGB (2560 x 1600 pixel), DVI (1920 x 1200 pixel) and dual channel 24-bit LVDS (1920 x 1600 pixel) which supports dual independent display. With its outstanding graphic computing and onboard touch screen controller, the ITX-a55E3 is perfect for multimedia and 3D display, especially for digital signage and HMI applications.
