Low Profile Military/Medical Grade Power Inductors Take the Heat, up to 155°C

New Coilcraft CPS military-grade power inductors take a low profile with the new ML563PKA Series. These robust ferrite-core surface mount inductors are constructed of high-temperature materials, to exceed the requirements of most military and aerospace applications, such as DC Link, DC-DC converters, switching power supplies and power inverters.

The Coilcraft CPS ML563PKA Series offers a full-rated temperature range of -55° to +105°C, and operation to 155°C with current de-rating. Additional benefits include high current capacity, low DC resistance and self-shielded construction. The 0.484mm footprint minimizes board space.

Inductance values range from 0.3 µH - 470 µH. Self-Resonant Frequencies to 238 MHz typical. Ferrite construction and larger gauge windings provide high current handling. Terminations are matte tin-silver over copper, with other plating optional.

Like other Coilcraft CPS products, ML563PKA Series inductors are designed, manufactured and tested to ensure their suitability for mission-critical applications and for use in the most adverse environmental conditions. They are excellent for military, aerospace and medical applications. All design, manufacturing, testing and packaging is done within Coilcraft, ensuring that performance standards will be maintained.
