RALEIGH, NC – Stackpole now offers the RNS Series axial leaded ultra mini metal film resistors with a ˝ watt (0.5W) power rating in a traditional 1/8 watt (0.125W) axial leaded resistor package size. This complements the 1W and 2W parts previously available. The RNS is able to achieve this high power handling performance through tight manufacturing control of a unique power film alloy. The standard flameproof silicone coating enhances its usefulness at high power levels. In addition, the RNS series is capable of precision tolerances down to 0.5% and TCR's as low as 25 ppm.
