July 20, 2012 - Metalshield® MC®-90 and MC®-110 produce strong, tough, and H4 diffusible hydrogen weld deposits required in applications such as heavy equipment and crane fabrication. Along with arc stability and minimal spatter, wires exhibit low temperature impact properties that include ability to exceed 30 ft·lbf @ -60°F according to Charpy V-Notch test results. Deoxidizing agents minimize pre- and post-weld clean up, while silicon island management minimizes slag and facilitates slag removal.
