Metalshield® MC®-90 and MC®-110 produce strong, tough, and H4 diffusible hydrogen weld deposits required in applications such as heavy equipment and crane fabrication. Along with arc stability and minimal spatter, wires exhibit low temperature impact properties that include ability to exceed 30 ft·lbf @ -60°F according to Charpy V-Notch test results. Deoxidizing agents minimize pre- and post-weld clean up, while silicon island management minimizes slag and facilitates slag removal.

Cleveland - Lincoln Electric introduces the new Metalshield® MC®-90 and Metalshield® MC®-110. Both metal-cored wires are premium low alloy metal-cored wires designed to produce high strength, high toughness, and H4 diffusible hydrogen weld deposits required in many applications such as heavy equipment and crane fabrication.

· Low spatter and excellent arc stability.

· Low temperature impact properties - capable of exceeding 40 J (30 ftolbf) @ -51°C (-60°F) Charpy V-Notch test results.

Metalshield® MC®-90 and Metalshield® MC®-110 are available in 500 lb. Accu-Trak® drums as well as 33 lb. plastic spools. Metalshield® MC®-90 and MC®-110 come in standard diameters of .045", .052", and 1/16".
